Management Consulting

We offer 3 levels of involvement :

1. The "X-ray" level

It is a little bit like your first doctor's appointment when you have a nagging pain that lasts more than 3 days. You know something is wrong but you've tried Tylenol and the pain won't go away. During that visit the doctor will ask you a lot of questions, might poke around a bit, to get a general idea of what is wrong and hopefully send you home with some medicine that will target the problem more efficiently. Just to be sure he might order an X-ray to get a snapshot of the issue so that the prescription really targets the area in question. This usually lasts 2 to 4 hours and can be done remotely.

This is great for the CEO, director, founder, or the entrepreneur who feels he/she needs a sounding board outside of his usual network.

This level is conceptual, in the sense that we would only discuss what could be the source of the problem, and possible solutions, but we would not be involved in implementing the solution.

2. The "PT" level

Once you've gone to the doctor for your knee, he might prescribe a few sessions with a Physical Therapist. A PT probably needs to see you regularly, to assess your progress and see how you react to the treatment.  The PT will send you home with exercises to do on your own which should improve your situation.

At this level we would be more hands on. That would involve interviewing you, your staff, having access to your organization's management documents (or its lack of documents :)

We would then give you a detailed plan of action of what changes are necessary for your organization to work more efficiently, and steps required to manage the human part of your team as an asset, rather than a liability.

This level can take a week to a month depending on the size of your organization.

 3. The "Surgeon" level

At this level, we would not only discuss the symptoms, and prescribe a course of action, we will also perform the surgery. This is our most involved level. For example, if your organization finds itself in a pattern of conflicts hindering your growth, challenged with staff retention, you might need a good look at your organization chart, or the lack of it. At this level, we would meet with all parties concerned and work with your team and yourself to design a new organizational structure, which would also include job descriptions, performance reviews, employment contracts, etc.
